Garbage / Recycling Information:

Garbage is picked up every Thursday. Please have your receptacle at the curb by 7am.

Garbage receptacles are 35 or 60 gallon and are $18/month. Please let us know if you would like a different size. These can be changed any time.

One week per month recycling boxes will be available for drop off collection at the Balsam Lake Disposal Plant located at 901 Old Main Street. Contact the Village of Balsam Lake if you would like a calendar as to which dates each month. You can also drop recycling off at the Government Center or the Recycling Plant on Hwy near Menards.
